Our Westchester YMCA Jr. Clippers Basketball league gives kids and families the opportunity to get in the game at any level! Players will improve their fundamental skills, develop an understanding of the game, make new friends, and learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship through playing on one of our Jr. Clippers basketball teams. Our dedicated group of experienced volunteer coaches here at the Westchester YMCA, teach the fundamentals of the game, and emphasize the development of every player. Players will develop friendships while learning about being a part of a team and our Jr. Clippers families are an integral part of the Westchester YMCA community.
Parent Orientation: Will be held on September 11th at 12 pm at Westchester Family YMCA.
Player Skills Assessment (Ages 6 & Up)
Assessment day will be held on September 18th at 12 pm at Westchester Family YMCA.
Coaches Meeting September 25th at 12 pm
Practices begin week of October 4th
League Play begins October 16th
Sport Consent Form must be signed for each participant and is part of the registration. Please bring your key tag or bar code from your receipt to scan in for entrance to the facility each day
* Players must labeled and bring a water bottle to practices and games. Face coverings will be required indoors during games and practices. No matter your vaccination status.
