Thanksgiving Day is a day to be with family and friends and to have a chance to slow down, reflect, and be grateful for all that we have. Our annual event, the Ridgefield Public Schools Foundation Turkey Trot, allows our community to come together and do just that. It is the perfect way to start the day and work up an appetite for all that turkey and pie! And the best part is that all proceeds for this event equally benefit the Ridgefield Public Schools Foudation and the Ridgefield Family Resource Center.

To guarantee yourself a race T-shirt, participants must register by midnight on Sunday, November 12th.
Those who register after the T-shirt cut-off will not be guaranteed a T-shirt. T-shirts for these participants will be avaiable for purchase at an additional cost on a first-come, first-serve basis at packet pick-up.
The Drumstick Dash is a special short-distance racing event for children ages 5 and under (no additional registration needed for the Drumstick Dash). It will begin @ 8:45 am followed by the start of the 5K Turkey Trot @ 9 am.
The Turkey Trot is a fun run/walk so there will not be a formal timer.
Race packet pick-up and in-person registration will be Wednesday, November 22nd, from 4-6 pm and Thanksgiving morning from 7:45-8:45 am in the Union Ridge Elementary School Gym. Once again, we will have a limited number of extra T-shirts for sale at in-person registration.
At race packet pick-up, please bring nonperishable food items for donation to the Ridgefield Family Resource Center. Each item will earn you a ticket that could win you $100 in local restaurant gift cards.
