Description
This program is for adults of all ages and skill levels. This is a coed class that introduces adults to the basics of ice hockey while touching on both fundamental skills and team concepts. Students in this class must be able to skate the length of the ice forward and backward. Students will work on skating, passing, shooting, hockey sense and positional play. Half of the class will be drills and skills based. Half of the class will be rigorous skating and scrimmage type activities. Depending on level, one to several sessions will prepare an adult skater to play in our Original Six adult house league. Original Six League players receive a discount for this class as part of their membership in the league and to help assist their efforts to continue to improve their skills.
Prior skating experience required.
