Description
Wheelchair Softball is one of the premier sport choices for members of Chicago's adaptive sports community. The program is for people with a primary physical disability to come out and take part in Chicago's sport of choice at Cubs Care Field at California Park; which was one of the first fields in the United States designed for play in the National Wheelchair Softball Association (NWSA). Currently there are two teams of athletes in the program who compete in tournaments throughout the area and if they qualify will move onto the national tournament in Kansas City, KS in August 2019.
