Tri-City Medical Carlsbad Marathon

Another Boston qualifier, The Carlsbad Marathon is a popular event in North County San Diego. The race features entertainment at every mile and a Kids Marathon Mile at Legoland California.

The Carlsbad Marathon sold out last year in late October. Registration is open, so act fast.

LA Marathon

  • Los Angeles, California

The LA Marathon is a Boston qualifier that begins at Dodger Stadium and ends on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica. There will be entertainment stages set up along the course, a cheer zone on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and Cheer Alley, with 600 high school cheerleaders at the start of mile 18.

Registration is now open for the popular race.

Phillies 5K

  • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Phillies 5K begins and ends at Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, with a cooldown lap around the field's warning track. Participants can celebrate the start of the season at the post-race party at McFadden's Ballpark Sports Bar and Grill.

Registration for the Phillies 5K opens on January 7.

St. Anthony's Triathlon

  • St. Petersburg, Florida

Run, bike, and swim along the scenic St. Petersburg Waterfront. The weekend includes two USA Triathlon-sanctioned events: the St. Anthony's Triathlon and the Meek & Mighty Triathlon, a shorter-distance race for novice adults and kids ages 7 to 14.

Registration for the St. Anthony's Triathlon opens December 1.
