Fitness Gear Review: Morph Collapsible Foam Roller

At just 1.5 pounds, the roller is incredibly lightweight, and it's said to be able to handle even a 350-pounder. The Morph has an industry standard 5.5-inch diameter and is built with environmentally friendly bamboo, recycled foam and aluminum.

Kickstarter

The inventor of the Morph, former NFL player Nate Lawrie, created a Kickstarter campaign to fund mass production of the product. The fundraising has finished, and more than $65,000 was pledged.

The product can now be preordered on the company's website. The cost for a single roller is $68, and you can also order removable and washable skins ($10 each) and a conversion kit ($28), which allows you to combine two rollers into one 30-inch roller.

The price may be a bit steep, but when you consider the benefits of being able to bring your roller with you when you travel, the cost is worth it.
