Swim 400 yards in the Chastain Park Pool before going on a 15-mile bike ride and a 5K run that ends at the Chastain Park Amphitheater. The swim consists of triathletes snaking up and down each lane of the pool before jumping out in the corner and heading to the bike.
Edwards High Desert Triathlon
Edwards AFB, California - April 19, 2014

Taking place on the Air Force base in Southern California, this race has both sprint (375-meter swim, 12-mile bike and 5K run) and Olympic-distance (1,500-meter swim, 24-mile bike, 10K run) courses. The bike route passes several of the base's landmarks, including the aeronautical museum and the USAF Test Pilot School.
City of Mesa Triathlon

Starting out at a 50-meter heated pool at Skyline High School, this race has sprint and Olympic distances as well as a kids course. The sprint is a 400-yard pool swim, a 12-mile bike ride and a 3-mile run.
