Description

This is an entry level course designed towards beginner woodworkers. In this course you will use a wide variety of machines and tools commonly used in the woodshop to construct a gorgeous cedar planter box, perfect for inside the house, as a window box or as part of your garden or patio! You will get hands-on experience with milling rough lumber, planning the cut list and using the tablesaw, jointer, planer and miter saw. Together we will assemble the planter box learning how fast, efficient and strong the dowel joint is! This class will focus heavily on woodshop safety and proper usage of most of the machines in our shop!
