Sickle cell disease continues to impact thousands of families, especially within the Black community. Awareness alone isn’t enough we need action.
On September 26, you’ll have the opportunity to receive a FREE cheek swab and join a global donor registry through our donor registry partner DKMS
It takes about one minute.
That simple swab could identify you as the life-saving genetic match someone with sickle cell disease or certain blood cancers has been desperately waiting for.
For many people living with sickle cell disease, a bone marrow (blood stem cell) transplant may offer the possibility of a cure, and more registered donors mean more opportunities for patients to find a matching donor.
Every new person who joins the registry brings hope to another family. One minute could save a lifetime.
